I have had my one modded to make it true bypass and i had a mid range boost mod done the same time, it cost me £50 which works out around $80 USD to have this done by a professional tech as i didn't want to do the job myself.
The reason i had this done was because it's always in my pedal chain when i play or practice with my band so i wanted it made true bypass and the mid range boost was my personal preference, i loved the sound of the Wah but just wanted a bit more mid tone to it.
Not that there's anything wrong with this pedal without these modds, i know plenty of people who use them without these changes and they sound great.
