is there a special order?
do most people learn stuff in a certian order, like first basic choards, then some theory and scales, etc. or can you just kinda randomly jump around? Im kinda randomly jumping around and i can feel im really hurting in some areas that i think my teacher and i jsut passed up cause they arent so fun, but im kinda learning they are essiential

You have to have something to stand on.

if you have never touched a guitar before.
But if youre given another song, you wont
have any idea on how to play it.
So yes there are some basics you usually
start with, and then you advance.
Its not like you have to follow a specific
pattern, but you may want to have a look
at the basics first.
