A horrible accident has taken place on the
Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
During Pearl Jam's concert last night( 30/6 )
8 people died, as a reaction of the pressure
of 50,000 people.

That's horrible. I've heard that happened at another big concert in the past, but I forget which one.

Hmm, I think you may be thinking of a certain Who concert. I don't know what it was called, but I know people were trampled outside and there were deaths. I saw it on VH1. That's really terrible that something like that can happen, and its tough as hell to prevent, who can hear you scream in a loud rock concert?

5 people(i think) were trampled to death at an ac/dc cocert this decade i saw it on Vh1 Behind the Music 2 weeks ago. the security wouldn't open the doors of the stadium or whatever they were playing at. And they were inside practicing and warming up and the people outside waiting thought the concert had already started so they started pushing to get in but the security didn't give the okay for them to start letting people in so people were being crushed against the doors and stuff.

wow, that really sucks...I mean, I can understand security doin' their job an' all...but surely the band wouldn't of minded letting people watch them warm up, rather then risking getting people crushed...Like I said in the other Roskilde post, hopefully we can learn for these kind of things to try and stop them from happenning again, or least minimising the chances of deaths...
