This might be a key point. Depending how much time you can devote to daily practice a wide approach during practice might work well...it does for me. I'm working on both Country and Blues lessons along with time devoted to warm-up/review, scale and chord practice, stretching/flexibility/strength exercises and songs. This wide variety keeps me from getting bored. And there's always something that goes well that keeps me motivated.
