Daisyrock is the root of all evil!, Psycho Amram :)
fender_tukman , I like Telecasters and (still) wish I could afford 3[already have a copy and may build one]. You may want to try something with a humbucker in it for the different variety of sounds..unless one of your Fenders has one already.
The only quible with fender is their price.

I just adore my Epiphone Les Paul. Ok, maby it isn´t the best sound-guitar (humbuckers sucks and my frets are almost gone) but the feelin´ is amazing. Neck is great and it´s easy to mute strings.
I´ve tried aslo an Ibanez RG-model. And I really liked but my muting sucked and I didn´t acutally know how to mute strings. Also volume knob was always in the way when I tried to sweep. But despite all of this, its a great guitar but maby not for me.
If you´re really rich, than go for John Petruccis Music Man signature model. You want regret it but of corse, money, money, always funny, in the richs man world.

I got 3 guitars: an acoustic and 2 electrics. One's a fender mustang, the other's a Dean. I like the Dean better, I think it's the humbuckers.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

Yes Sir, indeed .. if I was wealthy I think I'd have one for the heavier parts of my set. or start the show off playing "Paranoid" on it...I've always thought it would be good to borrow a BC Rich {I know i'd damage the horns if i had it for too long) and start playing Eagles or Bob Dylan stuff on it. :)

I must say I'm not much of a BC Rich fan myself, always seems a little cheap to me, but they do make some really cool shaped bodies.
I'm more of a Les Paul man, I love 'em can't get enough, I've got 4 guitars n two of'em are Les Paul's, only Epiphone's but they still give off a good sound and have really nice finishes, the only trouble I have with them is the action between strings and frets, but I've found that quite common. I'd really love to have a real Gibson Les Paul, but I aint that rich. Ah well, maybe one day. I've got a strat too, n I must say I'm not too impressed. It's ok when I'm just messing about, but there's no way I'd use one on stage. I quite fancy a tele as well, dunno why, just think I want one of every kinda guitar there is. Or is that being greedy? Anyway, it's nice to dream.

I luv the sound of Fender guitars but always have the same problem. I go to a music store and everything is 22 frets... (I play 5 songs that use 24 frets so it's a must-have)... and the volume knob is always right below the pickups... so I'm constantly banging my knuckles on it. So I've always ended up buying Gibsons and basically cause of that, never learned to use a whammy bar properly cause Gibsons never have em.
If there was a Fender guitar with 24 frets (or more :) and a volume knob behind the bridge, I'd get it fer sure.

I dont really have a problem with not usin whammy bars, it not somethin I do a lot anyway. I prefer to do a bit o bendin, I love to bend. But you can get some Les Pauls with a Bigsby tail fitted on em if ya do want a whammy bar, but I'm guessin they're rather expensive. I've seen Joe Perry use a few in the past, n they seem to put them on Chet Atkins mostly, but I kinda like them. Might get one one day.

I gotta take exception to that!:rolleyes:I have an epiphone genesis that is a great guitar..made back in '78, set neck, double cut-away, 22 frets, heavier than some pauls. If you're going to hang it on a wall, better find a stud and a big nail. It sounds great, doesn't quite have the punch as some of the early gold-top pauls, but then neither do some of the newer gibsons. I would love to get my hands on an old SG one day....but I've had this old epi for quite some time and it feels like an old friend. Oh by the way it stays in tune better than some of the pauls I've played also...great set of old grovers,,...
