hi everyone, just joined. been a half assed guitar player for a couple of decades now, over it and ready to get better. the site looks good but wtf is up with the 'songs' selection. 3 from marron 5 but nothing from zep, floyd, sabbath, waylon, toby or jamie johnson. guitar tricks really needs to step it up with the 'songs' department.

Guitar tricks does the songs section the way it should from a legal perspective. They need to obtain the rights for a song that they want to showcase in the lessons section I believe.

welcome! I understand your sentiment, I was led here believing they would "teach" an artist style I was interested in, which is nowhere to be found. Then I learned about the whole licensing thing, etc. While I really am happy with the site (nothing replaces a real person, but this is about as good as it gets!). I do feel the site (one of those lyric/tab sites) that referred me here was very misleading in implying that I would be "taught" a specific song.
