Hello! I see I'm not the only one here from Oregon. Great! I've been playing guitar off and on since I picked it up as a drummer in bands back in the 70s and 80s but never took it seriously until now. My girlfriend set me up with a years subscription to GT at Christmas. I'm just starting from the beginning on fundamentals 1. Even though I know some chords, what a pick is, how to tune the guitar and a few other things, I know I'm doing things wrong and want to learn good habit from the beginning.
Now if I can just figure out why the lesson videos are not showing up (green screen only) on my Windows7 laptop I'll enjoy learning more. Fortunately, my iMac shows the videos just fine. A tip of the hat to the late Steve Jobs!
