Hey Everyone!

My name is Joey and I'm a 19 year old sophomore in college who loves playing guitar. As you can guess from my username, I play 2 Ibanez acoustics, and have been playing acoustic for about five and a half years. Very recently, I started experimenting with open tunings and harmonics, and I'm having alot of fun with it! I'm here beecause I want to learn from others, increasing my chops and hopefully soon getting into electric as well! Hope to meet cool people and learn a lot!

Peace,
Joey

Hi Joey... sounds like you're into some interesting stuff... I just started playing around with open tunings myself. Have you checked out Kaki Kings stuff? Pretty insane... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UqV_5rVTNc&ob=av2n

I did just recently discover Kaki King! She's amazing! I'm going simpler than her for now, lol, but I just love being able to open up a whole new world of possibility for chord shapes, plus harmonics work great with open tunings! Thanks for replying!
