I have been trying to teach myself for years with a lot of frustration. This site seems to just what I have be looking for years and sure beats the $25.00 an hour most instructors are asking.

I sure think so! The instructor's videos are there 24/7, you can rewind & watch again to your heart's content, and they never have a "bad" day! Welcome to the site! Are you focusing more on electric or acoustic?

I have had an acoutic guitar for years. I have been thinking about trying an electric. I have heard they are a little easier to play on and I have short fingers so I would like to find someting with a thinner neck. I don't know if that would help with my fingering or not.

Welcome Swinings to the site. I've been in your shoes. I've played off and on for years but my strategy now is to stick with a preferred genre and get a lot of the fundamentals in place. There are a number of long time instructors on this site who have lots of great videos on Theory, Fundamentals and specific styles.

Long ago I had an Epiphone (Gibson) electric acoustic which was recommended because of a narrower neck. Currently I play on a GUILD acoustic guitar (regular width keyboard).
