So i saw that most of these lessons involved electric guitar. i have an acoustic and don't know which lessons to take. can someone help me?

Hi Ashwinn... if you're an absolute beginner, then you'll want to start with the Guitar Fundamentals course which will cover the basics. From there, you can check songs and other lessons geared specifically towards acoustic guitar. You may also want to check out Lisa McCormick's "Fingerpicking for Beginners" series which is an excellent course on fingerpicking for acoustic. She also offers some lessons that are based on playing with a pick. I think you'll get a lot out of the lessons on this site.
