I'd say if you were going to go for a sustainer system, get the Fernandes over the Jackson sustaniac... the Fernandes has a few more features, and from the reviews I've read, sounds better than the Jackson... Fernandes is used by a lot of the big boys... Steve Vai, Neal Schon, even The Edge from U2.

I was about to embark on a sustainer guitar project, but had to put my guitar playing on hold because of getting hand cramps... been getting back into my acoustic playing, and will ease back into electric, and if that works out, will probably look at putting together a guitar with a sustainer.
