I am confused between buying 2 of my favorite amps:-
It's the Fender Mustang-1 and the Roland Cube 20XL.......the thing is roland is a bit more expensive than fender and has got some additional feature like the JC clean and Acoustic Simulator etc. I won't mind spending a bit more for roland but if Fender's better, I would go with it......
I need help deciding which one to buy................

Did you read the amp guide? Another ? with too many answers I still play with my spiderjam although the sound isn't the best it is a great practice amp was saving for a Krank till I got laid off :( . Maybe buy ur guitar first then plug it in to both of em. I demoed a mustang 3 and was impressed for the money I might pick one up later.

Hey Ronet...

Maybe this will hep you. It's a practice amp shootout. It's got a Mustang, Cube and I believe a Spider. There are three videoes total.

Of the three, I like the cube the best. In fact, I have a small little microcube. Not a bad little amp for the size and price I paid for it.

The Mustang II sounds exactly like my Line 6. With all of the built in tones, saves on floor pedals. I had to kick out some extra money though for my FBV Shortboard for the Spider 2 I use... I LOVE having the 36 channels of sounds with that setup.
The Mustang was definately up there with the USB Output for PC recording and the Ipod plugin.
The Roland they showed has crunched a LOT of what I have in my 212 into that little bitty 40 watt case. Sound is really nice on that Roland as well. If I were to kick back down to a smaller amp for the portability.
The Line 6 though has kept with the foot switch that allows more presets to be used without having to touch the amp while playing. Problem though on that is the FBV Express' extra cost. I don't know if the shortboard is able to be used on that or not, but if it could, you can always pick up a used one for that.. this is where I love my Spider... So I think I would have to choose the Line 6 4 30 for a portable small amp if I had to pick.. Although I think at the end they did say that you can add similar pedals to the other guitars.. I think though I am just hooked on Line 6.
