Hi all,

I just learned to play a new song from this site: hole hearted , by Extreme.
I feel very happy because for me it was very hard challenging at first, after a few hours per day trying very hard now I can play it pretty well and it is very easy.. it feels very good because I can touch my progress..
I was just curious what difficoulft level can be considered this song.. basic? or at least in the intermendiate? I know it might sound like a stupid question but now i m just curious.

thanks Jimmy,

what level do I consider myself? I would say something in the middle between the basic and the intermediate level.
I dont have the time to learn everything, like music theory, ear training and bla bla bla, so I have to choose what's the priority for me, and that is to increase my technical skills as much as I can. At least for now.
What I do is to pick songs of any style that have things that are challenging for me, and I work hard on them untill I can do them perfectly. I do things slowly at first, making sure I put my fingers in the right way and without mistakes, then I m able to go up to speed.
I noticed that since I m working like this I m increasing my skills very quickly. Of course, this costs a lot of work, but anytime I feel my progress it is a great satisfaction.
