I think they use EMG pickups, those are active pickups that use batteries. That helps to drive the amp harder.

It seems as though I read/heard that Kirk uses Line6 amps. I could be wrong but seems like I heard this somewhere.

Hope this helps to get you on your way.

There's no way Kirk would use Line 6....... he uses Randall and used to use Mesa stuff.

I stand corrected. Like I said, just something I had heard. :)
George Lynch uses Randall as well.

take a look at this link found by searching the internet..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLqCVkMhTSI&feature=relmfu

also, you can surf the net using ( Fender Fuse )

I think you can go to a website and download other setting...
Check you manual for web site..

This guy here has a lot video but didn't show how he did the settings.' He did mention Matellica,,, Black album..??

First, if your amp can do this, find a Hard rock or Heavy metal sounding channel, then set the controls as followed.

Gain (or Drive) 10
Bass goes to 8
Midds go to 1 or 2
treble goes to 9
Reverb goes to 2

Thats for a Kill 'Em All tone. If you want the black album tone here is the settings; Again go for the heavy metal sounding pre set channel.

Gain (or Drive ) 8
Bass goes to 8
Midds go to 4 or 5
Treble goes to 6 or 7
Reverb to 1

Hope this helps! :-)

Well I knew he used some of their pedals. I guess I can forgive him for using line 6 a couple times. :D
