I am "over the hill" and I cant remember when a band has been so great. I love how they bring all those guitars together with the violin (and other instruments), their lyrics, intensity so on and so forth. I love the use of the acoustic and electric. I had the opportunity to see them in a small venue in Denver last week and I'm sure there will never be another experience like that. so what would you call them.... alternative rock or punk or indie? what styles are used in their music? who else could I listen to that would be similar?

Try the real deal... a few weeks ago at the foundry not far from our house, there was a power failure which caused these big clamper grabber things to let go of a large piece of titanium which subsequently fell into a vat of acid, releasing a significant toxic cloud. Fortunately for us the wind took the cloud away from our place, but not so great for all the people who lived north of the metal works... they were told to stay indoors for 3 days!
