One of my favorite bands, well at least their last few albums. They really inspire me because I cant put my finger on their sound; to me they have created something quite unique. They have a knack for being able to use the diminished/augmented chords in a beautiful manner, something I am very fond of when bands can pull it off.

Normally with bands I could say they sound jazzy, or classical based, or bluesy etc. These guys just sound like some alternative rock (which is pretty broad classification anyway) with a dark, melancholy atmosphere.

For the sake of some of you, the singer is a clean singer, no growling/screaming :)

Not bad... Not bad at all. I can see listening to these guys. They still have a bit more nu-metal sound to them than what I care for, but, not too bad at all.

I just listened to "The Longest Year" on Napster. Best way to describe it would be a modern day Pink Floyd???

I really enjoyed it. Will be listening to it again for sure.

Glad you liked!

I guess one of their main influences is actually the Cure, which makes sense I suppose.

Their old stuff isnt nearly as good in my opinion, mainly just their last two albums are the ones I like honestly, and they have 8 albums...
