Hey guys,

I swore off volleyball because I couldn't bear the thought of that speeding ball landing hard on my fingertips and jamming the joints all out of whack.

Come to think of it, I think I avoid a number of hand-intensive activities out of a gut feeling that I need to pamper these long-trained and pampered digits.

How strong, nuanced, and fragile they are. Like little brilliant dancers.
