A friend of mine has a few really nice acoustics...almost all are just below 2 thousand a piece.....and an even more expensive gibson
he keeps them in their cases...at one point they used to all hang on the wall in the open air...

what is better and is there an advantage to either ( aside from protection against accidents ) with being in the case?

dont the strings corrode more when they are in a case all the time?

seems when I stick one im not playing in a case for a while it comes out with nasty strings
