well, might sound like a weird topic, but listen to anything from the hellecasters, Bumblefoot or Freak kitchen, and you'll get it!!
My favorite funny solo is the one from "I can't play the blues" by ron thal on his shrapnel "hermit" CD... It's filled with unplayable shred licks that show why the song has this name...
I also think that it is important not to take oneself too seriously regarding one's music... All the great players have some licks that are ridiculous, or tv themes etc...
On the "neck to neck" CD by Mark KNOPFLER and Chet ATKINS, on the song "there'll be some changes made" Chet (or mark, dunno) just hits the worst sounding note you'll ever hear... And instead of trying to fix it, he just plays the lick again, and they both chuckle in the background... Well, it's one of the best moment on the CD... Share your favorite solos!!!

In my old band we did a version of the "Dr. Who" theme tune...
Work hard...Play hard...Break a string...

Actions speak louder than words...
And my actions speak louder than yours :D

Hmmmm... sounds like I need to get my band's mp3s up again...

I was thinking of a Primus tune too, the bass solo after the guitar solo in Tommy the Cat. Though some of the live bootlegs I've heard are far more amusing:

"Guitarists, can't live with them, can't shoot them legally."

On a side not, not all Primus is that funny (and this is reminding me of one more song that needs to get posted in the open discussion topic...). Yeah, anyway, Too Many Puppies, As the Toys Go Winding Down, Pudding Time, Ground Hog's Day, Power Mad...

Yeah, I'll shut up now.
