Americans aren't likely to celebrate the Birthday of a British Queen.

IIRC, they have their May long next week for the Memorial Day (the 25th).

Neither are we...people 'round here just tend to celebrate the day off work. :)

Not me, though. I had to work all weekend.

This is a 4 day week for me. Where I work they give us 10 holidays a year.
The way the holidays fall this year they are giving us Mon off for Memorial Day and this Fri as a floating holiday, thus Fri, Sat, Sun, & Mon off.

Unfortunely, I am a contractor and I don't get paid holidays or vacations. It will be nice to have the time off even if though I don't get paid.
