I want to get a good wah pedal but I don't know much about them. I am either going to get a Bad Horsie or Crybaby. I know they make many models of crybabys. If anyone owns either type of pedals please give me a description of the pedal's functions and what you would recommend that I buy.

I've had both, and IMO, the Bad Horsie (which I still own) is the best wah out there.

With the crybaby, you have to click the switch on and off, and there is a LOT of unwanted noise at the treble side.

THe Bad Horsie doesn't use a switch .At least not one you got to click on and off, it uses a bypass switch so you step on the pedal for wah, step off the pedal to get back to normal.

It's just , to me, the Bad HOrsie is way better than the crybaby.

Hope it helps

Do Bad Horsies use the 9v batteries or does it come with an AC adapter? I hate pedals w/ 9v batteries, I always end up breaking the connection.

It can use either.

I always put batteries in my pedals.

BUt it will go either way.

And mine didn't come with an adapter
