I live about 10 minutes from Irvine. There are two Guitar centers' very close by. One in El Toro and the other in Fountain Valley. There are some great gigs playing in July just minutes from where you are staying; Rush, Queens of the Stone Age, Bob Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, WASP, Chris Cornell............
Dream Theatre and Incubus also have gigs in LA during July.
