Yea, its normal. I'm not much of a singer, but when I was starting out, it was impossible for me to sing along and jam at the same time. Now I'm a lot better at it, several BLS songs I can play and sing at the same time, and I can mimic Zakk's voice a lot better than say Lahio's or Matt Heafy.
