why don't we think
of what we need
instead of all this wanting
happy to live
smiling with sin
than be honest with a grin.
well smiles tell lies
as easily as eyes
and i believe as much
i believe this as much
hearts will never say die
because hearts will lie
tell you what you want
and not what you need
one day the heart will sieze to bleed
turning lies over
and into the truth
it's the easiest thing a heart can do.
as long as we bleed
we believe
smiling all the while
the truth is out of style.

Nice thought and well put. Just remember, the person who smiles all the time is the one with the mental illness. With that being the case, I must be the most sane person I know.... :(
