My first multi was a Digitech RP-100, which was impressive for the price. But now I love my Podxt. BTW, I know Digitech also has a site for sharing user/artist patches, and I imagine Boss does too but I dunno. Regardless of which one you choose, if you really want it to sound the most like it does through the headphone jack, you might have to rearrange your concept of amplification by just going directly into a PA or using a plain power amp/powered mixer with speaker cabs. Not that it won't work at all with your Marshall or whatever...but dial up a Fender tweed amp model and it will sound like a Marshall imitating a Fender, know what I mean?

Agree all the way... sometimes an amp has it's own voicing and getting it to sound as other type of amp... well it gets kinda confussing, I got the recomendation in other thread that a power amp trhu a plain cabinet (PA style) is the way to go to
Power corrupts. Absolute power is kinda neat.
