This is a little off topic but it always reminds me of when I go back to Cornwall.
I go into the corner pub (the only one in town) and shout over the other people waiting at the bar "can I have a Carlsberg Please"....
Sure enough the guy behind the bar always says "WHAT??"
I reply "CAN I HAVE A CARLSBERG PLEASE".
"A WHAT??"
Finally I realize the guy doesn't understand a word of my Canadian accent.

'CAN OI HAV A COILSBOIG PLOISE!!!"

"Oh alrightly then GUV..... " sure enoughn now he understands me. :rolleyes:
