I've had my heart set on getting a good MXR set up, the Distortion + and the Stereo Chorus unit... but i got a bti impatient before i had the funds and you know how those guys at the guitar store make those other pedals look so great. Its not that easy to find good condition MXR pedals since they arent made anymore, so i took what cash i had and bought a Boss Metal Zone, and Super Chorus. I'm completely satisfied with the metal zone, it gets the classic rock tones, and the metal tones im lookin forl but the chorus is kind amakin me wonder if i wasted 70 bucks. I'm alright for now but i cant help but wonder what it would've been like to get the MXR set up, does anyone have some MXR pedals and can tell me if it owuld be smart to get rid of the Boss and go for the MXR?

Jim Dunlop actually makes MXR pedals and last I checked they're still being manufactured. Check out the website. http://www.jimdunlop.com

Sorry I didn't specify, MXR is still made, but not the REAL MRX pedals. The old ones from the 80's that were actually AC units. The ones made now are like... plastic chunks of crap that dont even sound the same.
