Hmm...famous classical tunes?
Greensleeves has always been one of my favorite melodies, and while pretty simple, I've heard lots of variations of the theme that add complexity if you wanted to spice it up, or even improv a little.

Or a few other relatively famous tunes:

Nutcracker March-Tchaikovsky
Blue Danube Waltz-Johann Strauss (always reminds me of matador Bugs Bunny :) )
Canon in D-Pachelbel
Starlight Waltz-Charles Brainard

Now that is something to admire...

Reminds me of one of my favorite Woody Allen jokes. "My uncle was a musician. He died trying to play Flight of the Bumblebee on the tuba. Blew his liver out through the horn."

I don't know why, but that still makes me laugh. Must be the visual. :)

If you're still looking try these two;

Mozart- Minuet in G= very simple stuff but i does have some triplets which shouldnt be a problem.

Erik Satie- Trois Gymnopedie also another simple song for anyone who can read music and its a lovely piece of music.

nah dude, you just play arps of different inversions of the chords over and over, just at breakneck speed. its quite easy when you get the hang of it.

I hope I'm not too late, I just thought of a good one: The Pink Panther theme.

It's frighteningly simple and sounds pretty good. Everyone knows it, too. I greatly recommend.

What I did was get a guitar tab and then transcribe it, but I can't find any very good tabs at the moment.

This is just from memory, so I could be horribly wrong.

Left hand just keeps doing this:

C# D D# E.....B.......E.......
D# D C# C.....G......C.......

And the melody starts out something like this:

D# E...F# G...

Maybe I'll type out the whole thing later, but I'm at school right now and I really need to get some work done. :) I'm sure you could figure it out on your own from there anyway, it's not too difficult.
