Just finished watching the Princes Trust tribute to Trevor Horn & all I can say is, man... what a pleasure to see real musicians with talent playing actual songs for a change. I get so used to seeing present day bands that seem to play nothing but open chords or crappy rap musicians shouting over drum machines that I sometimes forget how good things used to be.
And if nobody knows who I'm talking about, try listening to the Buggles, Yes, Grace Jones:Slave to the Rhythm, Frankie Goes to Hollywood or a dozen other bands who had Trevor Horn as either a producer or musician and you'll know what I'm talking about.
