could try doing what i'm about to do, get a modeller (pod or a vamp) a Crate Powerblock and a cheap cab. though not sure whether that fits into your budget but im pretty sure it would. good luck on the new amp purchase, half stacks look cool and are pretty awesome imo, even though they're impractical they are still fun to mess with.
