I was wondering which does everyone prefer between Randall or Marshall.....I know it'll probably just be a landslide for Marshall but I'm still wondering. Thanks for any info.

It would all depend on which you're talking about. If you're a metal head and prefer a ton of gain you should get Dimebag Darrel's Warhead stack that Randall made him. It's a 350 watt solid state head with one 4x12 cabinet and one 2x15 cabinet. The lows and highs on this thing are incredible. The only thing it doesn't have is the warm tone of a Marshall tube amp. But hey, nothing's perfect.

Randall is solid state, so it's naturally harsh. For a metal guitarist, it would probably be the way to go. Marshall is warmer, definitely, and i wouuld prefer it for my style. Are you considering any other companies like Mesa/Boogie, or Line6? I could help you out with those.
