Well I can understand having a hard case. If you're gigging, everything and its cousin gets thrown on to your guitar and if its not in a hard case, scratches will be the least of your worries.

But, on the other hand, it is a scratch on the back of the guitar. MEH. I like the scratches and dings because it makes it look like the guitar gets used.
