hey, everyone i just got a guitar for christmas and i have alot of questions to ask..... when playing a chord on the electric guitar they say to keep your fingers close to the fret which is nearest to the body of the guitar... right... but i am having trouble playing the Amajor chord because all my fingers have to be in the 2nd fret, 2nd string, 3rd string and 4th string does it mater if i put my fingers on the strings across the fret like this / or \ please help me to find out the right way to play this chord......thanx and HAPPY NEW YEAR.....
