I can't decide whether to get a Fender Hot Rod Deville 4x10, or a Marshall TSL 100! I need help deciding which one I should buy! I know most say, " go to the store and play 'em", but my store doen't have the Deville. I have played one once a long time ago and really liked it but I'm not sure if I should get it. I asked the store to order it through the shop so until it comes, any advice? My playing style is Blues, Rock. I play stuff like SRV, Clapton, Hendrix, Satriani, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Robert johnson (old fashioned, solid, southern blues music). I'm not asking for the perfect amp, but which would be suited more for my style?

P.S. For higher gain stuff I have a Keeley Ds-1.

I'd say the Fender. Which is odd. I usually stick with Marshall. I think the TSL is more suited to eighties hard rock. There are Marshalls that will do what your looking for if you want to shop around. Between the two though I believe the fender will work better.

the fender would suit you way better than the tsl if you're gonna be jamming out blues....and the keeley probably has you covered anyways if you need to go more into the hard rock, high gain end.
okay...my post is done...goodbye.

well, I dunno, the marshall can be nice and bluesy, but I think in this case the fender is your best bet.

I have the 4X10 and it can definetly be compared to the TSL. I play gigs, jam, do everything and it never lets me down and is just as loud as the Marshall...well what you can stand at least. It takes a bit more to overdrive it on clean than a Marshall would, but I think is definetly the better buy. For about 1/3 of the price..definetly go with the Fender.
