yeah, I am also looking into a career in this business. I personally want to go to a guitar school. because the one I'm looking at ( www.roberto-venn.com ) has a placement type thing were they can put in a good word for you with major companies, and they teach you business type stuff too if you want to run your own little repair-shop, etc.

I want to do whag ponyone has recommended and get a project guitar to play around with... I could use my ibanez, but it holds value with me as my first guitar, I don't want to change it... I can just think of how many songs I wrote with that guitar.
