i dont get it...

well its mostly guitar covers by me... now heres the thing
ive been playin for 14 months... self taught. but all ive been getting is bad reviews from my guitar playing... i play like 6 hours a day but know hardly any music theory. could this be my problem? im gonna take a class after christmas on music theory so could this help me? i thought i was pretty good for after a year, but i dont know anymore....

or could it just be my lack of money... i got a cheap $20 computer mic, $200 ibanez guitar and some $60 behringer v-tone 15 watt amp... cheap stuff...

You are very good for only a year and also being self-taught. I think the bad reviews were mainly because you bashed the other people in your band for sucking and came off as a bit arrogant.

Oh, also, you guys have GOT to write stuff a bit better than "Operation Wonder Woman." Pop-punk will lead only to the dark side.

hahaha i guess so... but people yelled at me cause i said that i was better than my rythm guitarist and hes been playing for five years... he said i was better than him himself... so im guessing thats why im "arrogant" who knows... aww well thats kinda what i wanted to hear :)

oh yeah that was my rythm guitarists song... see what i mean :) he didnt even freakin tell us he was writing it. im working on a more punkish kinda song...

How about just straight-up metal?

i could do a metal based song... i got a lot of metal solos in the works :) i just need a better amp, ibanez guitars were made for metal so i guess im fine there.....

In your Eugene's Trickbag (Steve Vai Cover), did you speed up the track, because the sound quality is very scetchy. It doesnt sound like a proper recording.

actually i dont know how to speed up a track.... that was the work of my behringer v-tone pack and a 20 dollar computer mic... i had the vtone guitar at the time... id record it again but 21 comments is the most ive ever gotten and i didnt want to get rid of it :) but ill do it anyway...

oh and by the way... that flying v head is pretty cool :)
