Actually, I drink Coors Lite (Americans can't spell or brew beer!) once in a while. It ain't beer - it's something cold to swallow on a hot day, with a fiery plate of vindhaloo chicken.

I don't think the major breweries on either side of the border have anything to brag about. It all tastes like it has dish detergent in it. At least Canadian beer has enough alcohol in it to make drinking the stuff worthwhile. You don't have to choke down a whole pitcher to get a buzz. The micro-breweries are where the good stuff comes from. As I said in the other thread, one of my favourite tipples is something called Mississippi Mud, from the Mississippi Brewing Company in Utica, New York. Conveniently bottled in 30 Oz. jugs. Now, that's "The one beer to have, when you're only having one".
