I am guessing you are using windows media player to play the files, that there is a windows media player update, and that microsoft wants you to get the update now. If that is so, you better just do what Bill says.

I wish I could be more helpful, but all that stuff is dependent on what browser you have, what media player, and what file associations are setup to play wavs.

One alternative would be to download winamp, it should overwrite your file associations, which should solve this problem
