I need to remember this...

I'm sitting here bored out of my mind at work so I started running through some lyrics in my head... I came up with a decent song idea and I need to write it down but I'm too lazy to run to the supply room to get a pad of paper. So I'm going to write it in here. Tell me what you think, some of it's going to be off the top of my head...

Welcome to the canvas
said the black to the white
they help me paint this, my beautiful life
they form this picture, my bright future
They bring the color,
and I've come to learn

No matter how hard you try
you can't paint a blue sky
with nothing but black and white
I've tried it anyway
I've come to find, in due time
It will always end up grey
It may seem, Todays blue sky
is just another shade of grey

they've come to be this, my colorful sky
It may not seem so to you,
But this grey has come to be my blue,
