You never can realy trust sound clips like those, because there's just too many variables. I have the JB in a Mahogany body maple/rosewood neck guitar and it sounds great. I'm actually thinking about putting one in my PRS, as it's bridge pup just isn't cutting it for me anymore. You can usually pick one up for around $70.
