I've never heard of any country scale, except in a harmonica method i read some time ago...

The most common scales that country players use would be the major and major pentatonics, but mixolydian, dorian and other modes are used as well. check out Lee Hodgsons "Hot Country" book for some tips on which scales to use to build country licks and solos.
