I don't know what modle Marshall you have, but I have the 2555 and I get his tone from a PRS McCardy and these settings....100wats, prs-7,bass-7,mid-4.5,treb-8,mast-9,gain-7,input-6, Mesa 4x12 V30s
Good luck

*That the Slash-miester uses a wah-pedal quite a bit to shape his sound...He's usin' some fairly heavy cables on that THANG and his tubes are matched and biased...He ACTUALLY has a fairly "tinny" sound on stage (partially due to the wah-pedal), but this mixes in nicely when miked through the PA with the rest of the band....Don't get TOOOOO hung up on "his" sound...It's been around ALOT longer than he has :)......
*Turn the bastard up and see what happenz.... :D

And it doesn't hurt to put a couple of his signature series Duncans in your git-fiddle.
