do you mean you break strings? generally that is a problem when you strum hard (like pete townsend). thicker strings are the only cure for that that I know of.

I use ghs strings and thomastik. ghs has a kind of blues string, i forget the name exactly, but i use them on my strat. thomastiks are great, but pretty expensive.
